He receives a small markup on every item, so that he can feed his family of five, and buy petrol and air tickets to travel around Africa doing missions work. He goes to places no one else wants to go, so you have the finest and most unique products available in the world.
3. 25% of every purchase goes directly back to the poor and starving in Kenya. Every purchase you make will show you how much you just donated back to the poorest of the poor and starving in Kenya and other African countries.
4. Another 10% of your purchase goes directly to free medical clinics set up by this non-profit organization, to distribute and administer vaccines for the AIDS virus so prevalent in Africa today. AIDS impacts people of all ages and crosses all lines of income. It is the poorest people in Africa that cannot afford to pay for medical treatment and therefore are the hardest hit by this disease. We fund those serving in the medical field to buy antiretroviral drugs and medicines, to travel to locations needing the care the most. All of our care workers are dedicated Christians, and therefore administer care as Jesus has instructed Christians to do.

Donations
When you donate to this cause, ALL of the money you choose to give will be sent directly to Christian Missions in Kenya and the area. These missions will then divide the money and use it to feed families and struggling individuals in these villages.

Our Merchandise
The products on our site are hand-made African art that come from the same villages that struggle so much with feeding themselves and those around them. The people who create them are paid for the time it took to create each piece, the items are then shipped over to the US and resold. 25% of each sale The Kenya Connection makes goes directly back to the villages where the products themselves are made. The other earnings go primarily to the cost of shipping the items here as well as product cost, and labor. These communities are in the midst of a profound struggle, and they could use all the help they can get. Feed the poor, order more!
